24G-U and 29G-U

TruePulse is looking to purchase 24G-U and 29G-U for the Lucent DDM-2000.  You may also be familiar with the boards as the Alcatel 24G-U and 29G-U, or even the Nokia, 24G-U and 29G-U.

24G-U, HECI code SNRXDW0, is a long-reach OC-12 Optical Line Interface Unit (OLIU) 4

The 24G-U OLIU circuit pack functions in the OC-3 shelf.  It interfaces with a 1310 nm OC-12 optical line in both the transmit and receive directions.

The 29G-U, HECI code SNRXD70, is an OLIU circuit pack used in the OC-3 shelf interfaces with a 1310 nm OC-12 optical line in the transmit and receive directions.

Although the description of the 24G-U and 29G-U sound similar, their TSI cross-connection are quite different, serving different applications.  Hence, they are definitely not interchangeable.

Nokia provides limited support of the DDM-2000 platform.

In addition to the 24G-U and 29G-U, TruePulse is interested in other DDM-2000 boards.  Furthermore, we are interested in a wide range of Alcatel-Lucent central office products including the 1680-OGX, the 5ESS, the 4ESS and the DACS-IV.
