NTRY50AB and NTRY50BA

TruePulse is looking to purchase Ericsson NTRY50AB and NTRY50BA cards.  You may still be familiar with these as the Nortel NTRY50AB and Nortel NTRY50BA cards.

The NTRY50AB HECI code GC2PX0D, is an Ericsson VSE System Switch and Controller circuit pack.

The NTRY50BA, HECI code GC3P20G, is also an Ericsson VSE System Switch and Controller circuit pack.

In 2006, Nortel Networks announced their second-generation Advanced Telecom Computing Architecture (ATCA) platform, the Versatile Service Engine (VSE), to support the voice requirements of wireless, wireline and cable operators.

The VSE platform gives service providers access to services such as converged mobility, enabling mobile subscribers to transparently move across cellular and WiFi domains with voice and multimedia services.

In 2009, Ericsson purchased many of Nortel GSM assets, including the VSE, from the bankrupt Nortel.
